How to export picklist values (label & api name) for multiple global ValueSet in Salesforce in few clicks?

Effortlessly Export Multiple Global Value Sets in Salesforce Using BOFC

Managing picklist values is a common administrative task in Salesforce. However, exporting multiple Value Sets or Global Value Sets manually can be both time-consuming and error-prone. Administrators must open each Value Set individually and copy values one by one—especially challenging when dealing with dozens or hundreds of picklists.

To simplify this process, the Bulk Object Field Creator (BOFC) App provides a powerful, one-click solution for exporting Value Set data quickly and accurately.

Business Requirement

Organizations often require the ability to:

  • Export multiple Value Sets for documentation or reporting

  • Migrate picklist structures between environments

  • Validate or audit existing picklist configurations

  • Share picklist information with external teams or integrators

Salesforce does not provide a native feature to export multiple Global Value Sets at once, which leads to manual, repetitive work.

Challenges with Salesforce Standard Process

Using the standard Salesforce setup, admins must:

  1. Open Setup

  2. Navigate to each Global Value Set

  3. Open the picklist valueset

  4. Copy values manually into spreadsheets

This approach is slow, manual, and becomes unmanageable for large organizations with many picklists.

BOFC – The Efficient Alternative

The BOFC App empowers Salesforce teams to export multiple Value Sets in just a few clicks, offering a more efficient and scalable approach.

Key Benefits of Exporting Value Sets Using BOFC

1. Bulk Export Capability - Export picklist values (Label & API Name) for multiple Value Sets or Global Value Sets in one operation.

2. Clean and Structured Output - Generate properly formatted output suitable for Excel, documentation, migrations, or audits.

3. Point-and-Click Simplicity - The UI is intuitive and requires no technical knowledge—simply select Value Sets and export instantly.

4. Saves Significant Time - Removes the need to manually open, review, and collect picklist values for each Value Set.

Few Simple Steps to Export ValueSet in Salesforce:

1. Open the BOFC Home > Click "Export Global Picklist or ValueSet"

2. It will open the below screen
