File ZIPO - One App with Multiple Solutions
File ZIPO is a native force.com application designed for developers and admins to perform action on Files & Attachments. User can perform multiple operations like
- ZIP Files - Zip multiple files in single or multiple folders (parent-child structure)
- Mass Download - Download Multiple Files or Attachments (for single record or multiple records) in single or multiple folders (parent-child structure)
- Sync Files - Sync your Salesforce files & attachments with external cloud storage accounts, viz., OneDrive, Amazon S3, Google Drive, Dropbox & Box.com. Access them any time within your Salesforce org with File ZIPO’s real-time sync.
- Backup Files - Salesforce storage is limited & expensive. Backup your Salesforce files of any size or volume to an external cloud or on-premise storage hassle-free.
- Archive Files - Sync all your legacy Salesforce files & attachments to external cloud storage to access & manage them at one place, hassle-free..
- Transfer files from Salesforce to External Platforms like DropBox, Box.com, Amazon S3, Google Drive.

This app is a shorter route to perform mass operations like ZIP, Mass Download, Merge, Sync, Backup, Archive, Transfer, Report on Files & Attachments. It will reduce manual effort & increase productivity for end users.
Requirement:
A XYZ company is an Accounting firm which manages many clients (Account). Currently, all the files or attachments of all the accounts are stored in Salesforce and accounting person manually download the files/attachments and upload them on OneDrive Account.
- Is there a way to Upload or Transfer multiple Files (or attachments) from Salesforce to OneDrive?
- Is there any limitation on file type or file size or volume?
Solution:
Using File ZIPO, user can "Upload or Transfer" Files or Attachments of single or multiple objects to "OneDrive" account in few simple steps. , so we need to perform below steps to use this functionality using File ZIPO:
Step 1: Add or Configure an OneDrive Account in File ZIPO
Step 2: Upload Files (or attachments) from Salesforce to OneDrive
Let's go through all the above steps one by one. (Note: Skip Step 1, if you already have a OneDrive account configured in FileZIPO)
Step 1:
User can easily add any OneDrive account in few simple steps. Please refer this detailed blog to add a OneDrive Account in File ZIPO
Step 2:
Once the "OneDrive" account is added in File ZIPO "Manage External Accounts" tab, then just follow the below steps to "Upload or Transfer files from Salesforce to OneDrive.
Few Simple Steps to upload / transfer Files Attachments to OneDrive
Step 1. Open the FileZIPO application from App Launcher & Click on "Manage Files/Attachments" tab.
Step 2. It Will open screen like below Image:-
Above image has some features (each number has its description as below):
- Select single or multiple Files / Attachments.
- Click on "Click Here to Download/Transfer" button.
- User can use multiple Filters like dropdown by Selecting "Files & Attachments" or "Only Files" or "Only Attachments", by Objects and by File / Attachments Name
- User can use "Advance filter" by clicking on Filter Icon. Once clicked, it will open the popup like below image:
User can use multiple type of filters like "Filter By Object", "Filter by User", "Filter by Keywords".
For eg: Filter By Object
Above image has some features (each number has its description as below):
- User can select the field from the dropdown.
- User can choose operator like "Equals to / Not Equals to".
- Enter the value of the Selected field in the first point.
- Click on "Apply Filter" button to get filtered files/Attachments.
Once "Apply Filter" button is clicked , user will get filtered files / Attachments like below image.
Step 3.After Clicking on "Click Here to Download/Transfer" button screen look like below image:-
Above image has some features (each number has its description as below):1. Choose the option as "Save on OneDrive".2. Select OneDrive Account from the DropDown.3. User can select existing folder to save file on OneDrive by Clicking Select Existing Folder Button.4. User can Enter New Folder name to save file in new folder on OneDrive.5. Click on "Save Files" Button to save files on OneDrive.
Step 4. After click on "Save Files" Button, screen look like below image.
Step 5. After completing the proccessing , go to your OneDrive account to check your uploaded files, like below image.
