How to Mass Download Files (or Attachments) of multiple parents in hierarchal folder structure?

ABC Company is using Salesforce to manage its different vendors and their information.

They have lot of vendors (Vendor A, Vendor B) from which the company purchases lot of useful goods and services. Every vendor has lot of Files/Attachments related to it like vendor documents, Invoices, Order form etc

Julie (Account Manager) has to perform one major activities:

1. For each Vendor, make a folder of all the Files/Attachments

Few Simple Steps to Download multiple files in Parent Folder Hierarchy:

Step 1:- Open the File ZIPO application from the App Launcher & click on "Download / Sync / ZIP" tab.

Step 2:- It will open the below screen

    

     Above image has some features (each number has its description as below):

1. Select the type
2. Select the name of the Object for which user needs to see files/attachments
3. User can filter the rows by the file/attachment name
4. User can use advance filter to filter the rows by User, Date, Object, keywords
5. Select single or multiple file/Attachments.
6. User can download individual file using download icon in the last column of each row. 

Step 3:- Select the rows & click this button "Click Here to Continue". Once clicked, it will open a popup

         1. Choose the type of option as "Download (as ZIP)"

2. Choose Folder Structure as "Multiple Folder for all selected files (Parent / Child Structure)"

3. Enter Your ZIP File name.

         4. User can add multiple CC Address (separated by comma)

5. Click on "Download Files" Button to initiate the process to ZIP in Parent folder hierarchy.

Step 4:- Once "Download Files" button is clicked, user will receive an email on "To Address" and "CC Addresses" once the selected files / attachments are ready to download. The email has a link to download the ZIP file. User can download the ZIP file from email.

Once the "OneDrive" account is added in File ZIPO "Manage External Accounts" tab, then just follow the below steps to "Upload or Transfer files from Salesforce to OneDrive.

 Step 1. Open the FileZIPO application from App Launcher & Click on "Manage Files/Attachments" tab.

2. Click on "Click Here to Download/Transfer" button. 
3. User can use multiple Filters like dropdown by Selecting "Files & Attachments" or "Only Files" or "Only Attachments", by Objects and by File / Attachments Name
4. User can use "Advance filter" by clicking on Filter Icon. Once clicked, it will open the popup like below image:

 

User can use multiple type of filters like "Filter By Object", "Filter by User", "Filter by Keywords".

For eg:   Filter By Object

1. User can select the field from the dropdown.
2. User can choose operator like "Equals to / Not Equals to".
3. Enter the value of the Selected field in the first point.
4. Click on "Apply Filter" button to  get filtered files/Attachments.

Once "Apply Filter" button is clicked , user will get filtered files / Attachments like below image.

 

Step 3.After Clicking on "Click Here to Download/Transfer" button screen look like below image:-

             1. Choose the option as "Save on OneDrive".

             2. Select OneDrive Account from the DropDown.

    3. User can select existing folder to save file on OneDrive by Clicking Select Existing Folder Button.

    4. User can Enter New Folder name to save file in new folder on OneDrive.

    5. Click on "Save Files" Button to save files on OneDrive.

 Step 4. After click on "Save Files" Button, screen look like below image.

 

Step 5. After completing the proccessing , go to your OneDrive account to check your uploaded files, like below image.
